'Doctor Strange' Trailer: Decoding the First Footage of the Sorcerer Supreme
<p>Abracadabra! On Tuesday night, <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live!</em> magicked up the world premiere of the first trailer for Marvel’s <em>Doctor Strange</em>. That’s a full six months ahead of the film’s Nov. 4 release date and just a week and change after director Scott Derrickson wrapped a shoot that brought production to Nepal, then London, and finally Manhattan. The clip made some things very clear (Tilda Swinton’s bald!) while seeming to leave others as opaque as the inside of a magician’s top hat (is Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character Mordo a goodie or a baddie?). Now, pick a card — any card! — while we take a closer look at the first-ever footage from <em>Doctor Strange</em>….</p> <p> </p>
